Mile High Kite Festival at Beech Mountain A great tradition with lots of color and fun activities for kids of all ages. Kites can be purchased at the event or bring your own. Be sure to bring your kite making supplies. Free kites Saturday and Sunday for the 1st 100 children. Kite building and decorating clinics are presented for the children as well.
